The free download of “Hard Won Pearls” ended yesterday with 172 sent out to people that chose to try it.  I received a box of 40 books today to give to my coworkers and to send to some important people in my life.

My husband is the real writer in our family.  He has written a novel “An Honorable Endeavor” and we are excitedly awaiting the audible production around Christmas.  His novel “Dragoons/ Sound of Sabers” was very interesting to edit and type.  It is fiction but based on the use of Dragoons – mounted cavalry in battles between the Swedish, Prussians and Austrians in the 1700s.  He has just finished a novel about time travel and it is “way over my head” in physics.

I have always found physics to be mind bending.  I can’t follow the concepts of time travel, shape distortion with speed and other wild theories that scientists grasp.  I can feel my mind shutting down when these topics are discussed.  
Biology is much easier to grasp. I can understand  the fertilization of an egg and the development of a baby from this union.  I can see how some would find that concept mind bending.  Maybe, given time I will be able  to follow the time travel explanation.  Until then I will enjoy his book for the engaging story line.
