I am a physical therapist presently working in home care.  I began working as a physical therapist in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1982 after graduating from the University of Tennessee.  I have worked in a variety of settings, 25 years of which were in an out-patient setting.  I have worked in hospitals, rehab units and home care over the years and have watched my profession change.  I moved to Michigan in 2007 after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and have benefited from the flexibility of work in the home care setting and the cold of Michigan.

I raised three children and now have a son-in-law and a new daughter-in-law. The family is scattered over the south.  My husband’s son, his wife and their children live in Ohio. We are blessed.

My husband is an author of a growing selection of books: Honorable Endeavor, Shade of Angels, Dragoons/ Sound of Sabers, and the Redemption in Time Trilogy.  The books can be found on Amazon.com.

Work is a huge part of my life but nothing gives me more joy that seeing the growth of our family.

This blog is a personal challenge for me.  I have years of experience and an over-sharing personality and this platform seemed a perfect outlet for both.
