There are some days when it is so much harder to be apart from family.  On those days I just want to simplify my life, sell it all and become a traveling therapist.  Traveling therapists take 13 weeks assignments and get to choose the assignments they take.  They receive a good income, benefits and a tax free living allowance.  I think of what the life would be like to meet people on the road, see parts of the country that are as beautiful as my area, move to the places that need helping hands after a disaster, be near my kids and grand children when they need me, spend money on my family instead of a house, and add pages to my book for the furture.  I am married to a wonderful man who sculpts, writes and entertains the people around him.  Sometimes I feel that we have trapped ourselves into a location and the need to explore is being pushed down.  Perhaps we will finally just make the change we crave.
